Looking for the right Talent

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

​Job Description:

  • Research industry literature, attend industry specific tradeshows and build a knowledge base of product trends through conversations with production, engineering and sales professionals which will lead to new product design ideas.

  • Work with clients in order to understand design parameters within defined product categories and research the demographics of consumer product use.

  • Create preliminary artistic drawings in the form of illustrations and storyboards of product concepts, present them to clients for feedback and creatively use the feedback to refine product design.

  • Use CAD software to refine designs and create virtual models of products.

  • Utilize 3D printing to create product prototypes that are both non-functional and working in order to evaluate their practicality.

  • Collaborate with a team of manufacturing professionals and engineers to evaluate product. prototypes in order to determine production feasibility and costs

  • Utilize computer-aided industrial design (CAID) software to instruct manufacturing equipment how to build the finalized product design and present to manufacturing department

Job Requirements:

  • An analytical thinker who is energized by solving problems through design

  • Bachelor degree in industrial design. Masters will be an advantage.

  • Robust CAD skills in Blender, Rhino. Rendering skills.

  • Independent thinker and worker who can easily adapt to a team approach.

  • Work experience of 2+ years, in design of household goods like lighting, faucets, fixtures etc.

SALES INTERN

  • Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member, and completing all allocated tasks.

  • Conducting desktop research, or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.

  • Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.

  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company's managers.

  • Updating documents and sales records.

  • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.

  • Observing and carrying out sales processes.

  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.

  • Assisting managers with negotiations.

  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.
